There's a logical way to arrange a website - but it's amazing how many companies still put all of their website content on 'one level'.
Revive uses hierarchical structure to organise websites - a bit like a family tree. At the top, you have overview information, summarising your services, and more detail as you move deeper into the website.
This way of structuring websites is good for the end user, and Google likes it too - possibly because it's good for the user. There's little worse than visiting a website and finding the home page full of text - most people simply click away. People want to see headings, describing the services they are looking for - with a click through to a more detailed page; and possibly even more detailed information behind that.
We have had years of experience setting up websites, primarily so they are easy to use and digest for customers - and found that Google positively responds to this way of building websites - so now we recommend it as part of our Search Engine Optimisation Strategy.
